This unique service is provided to individuals from all walks of life, from elite athletes to recreational fitness enthusiasts who have unfortunately sustained an injury over the weekend.

In this 15 min appointment, we will provide an accurate diagnosis, detailed rehab trajectory, education, reassurance and advice to help you on your road to recovery.

This service is highly requested so be sure to book in early as spots are limited.

We consider all regions of the body, including your muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints and  nervous system. By combining careful analysis and interpretation of investigations with the application of evidence-based treatments, we can help accelerate your recovery timelines.

Field Based Rehab

Injuries in sport can be frustrating, disheartening and otherwise upsetting. The journey from the initial injury into the rehabilitation process and back to your sport can be challenging. It is no surprise that many athletes feel like they’re “not up to scratch” after their rehab. When we delve deeper, we find out they are often left underprepared when considering return to sport, increasing their risk of reinjury and subsequent complications.

The transition from your gym based rehabilitation to the field is essential to optimise your return to play and performance post any injury.

At A Plus Physiotherapy, we help bridge that gap, working closely with you, your coaches and all medical professionals involved in your rehab journey to help restore function, optimise performance and maximise confidence in your ability.

Is this Suitable for Me?

These sessions are perfect for anyone who is edging closer to return to sport from their injury and needs guidance on:

  1. Running
  2. Acceleration / deceleration mechanics
  3. Change of direction mechanics
  4. Jump and land mechanics
  5. Movement and Skill acquisition

These 1:1 and small group sessions are specifically tailored to the individual and their injury. We see our field based sessions as a true necessity for any athlete who has sustained a joint or soft tissue related injury and is looking to get back on the pitch.

Performance Testing

Explore how our range of performance testing equipment can transform your performance, treatment and rehab.

Get tested like an elite athlete!

At A Plus Physiotherapy, we use the VALD ForceDecks, ForceFrame and NordBord systems  in an approach to understanding human movement, performance and in the identification of injury risk to assist in guiding rehabilitation (or pre-habilitation).

Numbers don’t lie!

If you want to get the best results from your strengthening and rehab program, you need to stop guessing and start measuring.

Measurement provides the baseline for improvement and VALD systems enable you to objectively track and monitor strength, power, symmetry and neuromuscular function over time or during the rehabilitative process.
